I grew up convinced I’d become a Wall Street hot shot.  After three years of interning in the financial sector, the stock market was all I knew.  When I got to college however, things changed.

After failing accounting twice, I quickly realized continuing as a business major was going to take at least one extra year of studies.  On top of that, I’d been taking psychology classes and was fascinated by human behavior.  So, anxious to graduate on time, I switched my major and began studying marketing: The perfect intersection of business and psychology.

After graduating, I quickly got hired at a rapidly growing digital marketing agency in Los Angeles.  While there, I rose to Senior Executive thanks to the company’s status as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States.

In 2010, I left the company to venture out on my own and travel the world.  Over the following years, I would travel to 51 countries, live on four continents, and marry the love of my life in Brazil.

Around 2014, I got serious about my career again.  At first, I leveraged my background in search engine marketing to offer PPC, SEO, and reputation management services.  And while my clients were happy, I quickly realized it was my ability to generate leads for my own agency I found most fascinating.

So, in 2015, I closed my search engine marketing agency to work as a freelance copywriter.  And because I was playing to my strengths, my career exploded.  In a matter of months, I was being referred to high profile, award-winning small businesses (including a variety of industry experts and best-selling authors).

Fast forward to today and my client list includes Shark Tank, Inc. 5000, and Two Comma club winners.  Harkening back to my roots as a Pay per Click advisor, I now combine my understanding of copywriting and paid media to offer performance-based ‘Pay per Lead’ services.

In my free time, I can be found surfing, reading my Kindle, watching USC football or cuddling with my wife and dog – Chico.
